Course Overview: This course meets the mandatory Refresher Training requirements for Door Supervisor to retain their SIA licence, in accordance with the specification set by the SIA. This qualification is certified by Highfield Qualifications. The course content includes searching, vulnerable people, terrorism awareness, spiking awareness, and physical intervention. Who is this course for? The Door Supervisor Refresher course is for existing license holders, or those who have had a license recently expire, who wish to renew or reapply for their Door Supervisor license from the Security Industry Authority (SIA). This is a mandatory requirement as of 1st April 2025. If you completed your original Door Supervisor course before April 2021, you must have completed a Door Supervisor Top-Up course and a Door Supervisor Refresher qualification to be able to renew your license. If you have not completed a Top-Up course, you will need to complete a full 6-day course to be able to get a new license. The Top-Up course has been discontinued by the SIA as of November 2024, and so cannot be completed after this time. If your license expired more than 3 years ago, you will need to complete the 6-day Door Supervisor course to be able to get a new license.
